Can you feel the spring in the air? We definitely can! The weather, at least where we are, in the South West, has not been very kind during the first months of the year. But we had so many wonderful projects on our benches that we hardly looked out of the window. Take a look and see what you think.
Recently we have been involved in a number of new build projects, both home and luxury holiday lets in stunning Cornwall locations. Floral fabrics are a good choice for bedrooms. The style can vary and if in doubt what’s the difference between Puff Ball, Goblet, or a Triple Pleat, we put together a little curtains guide on our website that may be of help.
Birds and fish
In spring we tend to go out more, but what if we wanted to keep some of the beautiful outdoors inside? Well, that’s no problem at all! Kingfisher and Iris fabric has been created under the licence from National Trust and we have been honoured to use this fabric to produce blinds for our client in Dartmoor, Devon.
You may have not thought of mackerel for a bench seat cushion but it looks great doesn’t it? The material is organic linen and undoubtedly makes this L-shaped wooden bench so much more comfortable.
Not to mention pigeons and chickens. Look, how great they look on these curtains. It just shows that your imagination has no limits and we are more than happy to help you choose from the thousands of different fabrics we have access to. Let’s start talking and create something exquisite.
Geometry with a twist
Squares, dots and stripes are still very popular. Even better if we add a twist to it, with your permission, of course.
Recently we’ve made 65 single and double headboards for one of the local hotels and added some decorative pins to make them look even more attractive. More pictures are available on our Instagram page.
And what do you think about the Pom Pom candy floss fabric? We absolutely fell in love with it, so cheerful to work with. Surely this will bring plenty of joy to one of the four bedrooms in a holiday cottage we have recently fitted. We will share a full project with you shortly, so stay tuned in.
Thinking of you
Thank you so much for your support and the kind words we keep receiving. Every review you leave on our Google page gives us plenty of joy.
And with Easter on its way, we’d like to share the latest inspirations from the fabric suppliers below. As always, if you have any projects you need help with, get in touch. We will be thrilled to look into it and help in any way we can.
